Türkiye’s total crude oil and petroleum product imports increased by 5.15% year-on-year in July, reaching 4,335,611 tons.
According to the Energy Market Regulatory Authority’s (EPDK) “Petroleum Market Sector Report” for July, crude oil, which constitutes the largest share of Türkiye’s total oil imports, saw an increase of 8.19%, totaling 2,615,090 tons.
During this period, diesel imports decreased by 1.33% to 1,250,026 tons. The remaining imports consisted of aviation and marine fuels, gasoline, fuel oil, and other products.
Thus, total imports increased by 5.15% in July compared to the same month last year, amounting to 4,335,611 tons.
The highest imports of crude oil and petroleum products came from Russia, totaling 1,582,473 tons, followed by Iraq with 387,115 tons and Kazakhstan with 214,847 tons.
Meanwhile, domestic gasoline sales in July increased by 8.87% compared to the same month last year, reaching 461,469 tons, while diesel sales decreased by 11.91% to 2,338,059 tons.
Total petroleum product sales recorded a decrease of 8%, totaling 2,967,659 tons.

Petroleum product exports increase
Türkiye’s aviation fuel exports rose by 13.86% in July compared to the same month last year, reaching 538,318 tons, while marine fuel exports surged by 48.4% to 165,177 tons.
Gasoline exports increased by 66.7% to 13,219 tons, while diesel exports fell by 33.3% to 31,019 tons.
Total exports in the petroleum market rose by 13.5% to 1,145,231 tons.
In July, diesel production increased by 3.33% year over year to 1,355,874 tons. Gasoline production rose by 6.26% to 471,173 tons, while aviation fuel production increased by 10.32% to 620,238 tons. Marine fuel production increased by 48.9%, totaling 141,010 tons.
Overall, total refinery petroleum product production increased by approximately 3.5%, reaching 3,264,777 tons.
