Turkish national basketball player Cedi Osman, formerly with the Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs in the NBA, has signed with Greek club Panathinaikos.

Osman, who was also rumored to be moving to Türkiye’s Anadolu Efes during the transfer window, has finalized his deal with Panathinaikos under the guidance of Turkish coach Ergin Ataman.

Dimitris Giannakopoulos, president of Panathinaikos, announced the agreement with Osman on his social media account.

Career highlights of Cedi Osman

Osman began his basketball career with Anadolu Efes and was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2015.

He played for the Cavaliers from 2017 to 2023 before joining the San Antonio Spurs, where he last competed.

The 29-year-old Cedi played 72 games in the NBA last season, averaging 6.8 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.
