Farmicca, a vertical farm based in Istanbul, Turkey, announces its first local, high-yield sky crops facility. Built entirely with its own hardware and software, the farm has now officially begun to produce its own vegetables, which are amongst others, leafy greens and basil.

“In this extraordinary facility, we take pride in showcasing the best examples of sustainable agriculture, growing products that respect nature and benefit health. Soon, you’ll be able to see and enjoy these lovingly grown products on supermarket shelves, and we can’t wait to share this excitement with you,” says Cihan Yilmaz, Co-founder and CTO at Farmicca.

Farmicca is a turn-key construction solution provider of vertical farming systems, delivering fully operational farms. On top of that, the company has its own DWC pools, rafts and germination trays, growing media, as well as its nutrient solutions and seeds.

“A huge thank you to all our team members who contributed to this significant achievement. We believe that together, we will achieve many more innovative projects,” Cihan concludes.
