The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) on Friday announced the provisional squad for the 2024 UEFA European Championship (EURO 2024).

Among the notable names are Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu, Real Madrid starlet Arda Guler, Juventus’ Kenan Yildiz, Bournemouth’s Enes Unal, Leicester’s Yunus Akgun, Ajax’s Ahmetcan Kaplan, Benfica’s Orkan Kokcu, Al-Ahli’s Merih Demiral and Lille’s Yusuf Yazici.

Two Fenerbahce players with rich European experiences – defender Caglar Soyuncu, who has played for Leicester City, Atletico Madrid, and winger Cengiz Under, who has played for AS Roma and Olympique Marseille – are selected by manager Vincenzo Montella as well.

Fenerbahce contributed the most to the provisional squad with five players.

Defenders: Mert Muldur, Caglar Soyuncu, Ferdi Kadioglu (Fenerbahce), Zeki Celik (Roma), Abdulkerim Bardakci (Galatasaray), Ahmetcan Kaplan (Ajax), Merih Demiral (Al-Ahli), Ozan Kabak (Hoffenheim), Samet Akaydin (Panathinaikos), Cenk Ozkacar (Valencia)

Midfielders: Berat Ozdemir (Trabzonspor), Can Uzun (Nuremberg), Hakan Calhanoglu (Inter), Ismail Yuksek (Fenerbahce), Kaan Ayhan (Galatasaray), Okay Yokuslu (West Bromwich), Orkun Kokcu (Benfica), Salih Ozcan (Borussia Dortmund)
