Türkiye’s Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NDK) has introduced new regulations aimed at improving traceability, enhancing safety standards, and increasing transparency in inspection processes at nuclear facilities.

The decision, published in the Official Gazette, mandates that all data related to services provided by supplier companies must be recorded in a traceable manner.

An electronic system will be established to store and monitor this data in real-time, with access granted to NDK and independent oversight bodies.

Real-time monitoring and data transparency

Under the new regulations, supplier firms are required to maintain comprehensive records of the services they provide. This information will be tracked through a centralized electronic system, ensuring transparency and accessibility for regulatory bodies.

Additionally, laboratories conducting destructive testing must preserve visual records of test results for a minimum of three months.
