Turkey have named their final 26-man squad for this summer’s European Championship.
Real Madrid’s Arda Guler has been included in the final selection. The 19-year-old attacking midfielder featured regularly for his club in the latter stages of the 2023-24 campaign, and he is expected to be an important player for his country at the tournament.
Inter Milan’s Hakan Calhanoglu, the squad’s second-highest goalscorer with 18 goals, is set to captain his team in Germany.
Roma’s Zeki Celik, Galatasaray’s Kaan Ayhan, and Lille’s Yusuf Yazici have all been included in the final squad by head coach Vincenzo Montella, marking the notable selections for the tournament.
Turkey have been placed in Group F at Euro 2024 alongside Portugal, Georgia and Czech Republic.
They are due to face Georgia on June 18, followed by clashes against Portugal on June 22 and Czech Republic on June 26.
