Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Istanbul, the added 2.06%.

The best performers of the session on the were Reeder Teknoloji Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS (IS:), which rose 5.47% or 1.50 points to trade at 28.94 at the close. Meanwhile, Akbank TAS (IS:) added 4.78% or 2.80 points to end at 61.35 and Gubre Fabrikalari TAS (IS:) was up 4.68% or 8.80 points to 197.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Borusan Birlesik Boru Fabrikalari Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS (IS:), which fell 2.67% or 14.00 points to trade at 511.00 at the close. Migros Ticaret AS (IS:) declined 2.65% or 14.00 points to end at 513.50 and Enerya Enerji AS (IS:) was down 2.56% or 5.70 points to 216.80.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 469 to 100 and 11 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.40% or 10.45 to $2,609.05 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 2.07% or 1.45 to hit $71.33 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 1.89% or 1.39 to trade at $75.04 a barrel.

USD/TRY was down 0.11% to 34.03, while EUR/TRY rose 0.09% to 37.92.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 100.49.
