Several days after the attack by Turkish occupation mercenaries, “Al-Amshat,” on the residents of Kakhira village in the Mobata district of occupied Afrin, who had organized a demonstration led by women on the evening of Friday, September 15, protesting the looting, the imposition of tributes, and demanding the release of detainees held by the mercenaries. The attack resulted in the injury of around 20 people, most of whom were women.

Additionally, the mercenaries surrounded the village, preventing the residents from leaving their homes and ordering surveillance of citizens’ houses, especially those of the Kurds. They also cut off internet service to the village, according to the organization on Tuesday.

Simultaneously with imposing the siege on the village, the mercenaries began pressuring the wounded from the attack, forcing them to say that they were injured during a fight between two families, in an attempt to falsify the facts, according to the organization.

The organization also noted that the leader of the mercenaries, from the so-called “Al-Hamzat Division,” named Saif Bulad, arrived on Tuesday with two Turkmen mercenaries to the village. They offered the wounded individuals $200 USD in exchange for relinquishing their rights.

Furthermore, the injured were asked to record videos stating that they were injured during a fight between an Arab and a Kurdish family, in an attempt to cover up the crimes and incite discord between Kurds and Arabs.
