The well-known Turkish singer, Ferdi Tayfur, passed away at the Medical Park hospital in Antalya, where he was being treated for a long time.
He was 79 years old and during his musical career he made many popular albums and songs.
Ferdi Tayfur had felt unwell on December 15 at his home in Marmaris, and was first admitted to a private hospital in the city, and then transferred to another health institution in Mugla.
He was under treatment in the intensive care unit of the surgery department, and had previously been operated on in a hospital in Antalya to place a stent in the brain vessel. It is mentioned that he was released from the hospital four days ago.
For a period, Tayfur needed dialysis treatment, and in 2020, his son donated a kidney.
On December 16, he was transferred from Mugla to Antalya, where he continued his treatment and underwent an operation. /Telegraph/
