Yigitoglu was in the Mustangs’ starting lineup in SMU’s Monday night matchup with UNC Greensboro. He scored 13 points, grabbed four rebounds and dished out an assist in his SMU debut.

The 7-2, 265-pound center is a massive player with long arms, and the 20-year-old has immense potential to be a dominant center.

At ACC Media Day, Enfield said he expected Yigitoglu to be cleared. Now that he has, he will be a key piece in SMU’s frontcourt as the Mustangs continue their first season in the ACC.
