Emotional Farewell from Semih Şentürk
Fenerbahçe U19 Team’s technical director Semih Şentürk announced that he has left his position at the club. In his statement on his social media account, Semih Şentürk shared his loyalty to Fenerbahçe and the memories he had with the club.
Semih Şentürk’s statement is as follows;
“During the years I wore the Fenerbahçe jersey, the struggle I put up on the field, the goals I scored and the victories we experienced were the most valuable moments of my life. I always wore this jersey with pride and tried to represent our great community in the best way possible. After my football career, I took on the responsibility of guiding our young talents and instilling the Fenerbahçe spirit. If I could contribute to their development even a little, I am happy.”
“This club gave me not only a career, but also a family. I felt your support in every training, every match and every victory. During my time in the youth academy, it was a great honor for me to transfer my football knowledge and experience to our young players. I sincerely believe that these young people will represent Fenerbahçe and our country in the best way in the future.”
“Today, I am having a hard time saying goodbye to you as I leave my position in the Fenerbahçe Sports Club infrastructure. It is really hard to describe how intense my feelings are. It is an indescribable feeling to say goodbye to you, our dear fans, who have always supported me and stood by me in both my career as a football player and a coach.”
“It is always difficult to say goodbye. However, I know that Fenerbahçe’s place in my heart will never change. Being a part of this club has always been a source of pride for me and will remain so. Every moment I spent with you, every emotion I experienced, will remain unforgettable memories throughout my life.”
“My dear Fenerbahçe family, I carry a deep sense of gratitude and love in my heart as I bid you farewell. I am happy if I could contribute to this great community. First of all, I would like to thank the great Fenerbahçe fans, our president, the managers responsible for the infrastructure that I worked with, the academy directors, the infrastructure coaches and the players we trained for the love you have shown me and my family. I am bidding you farewell for now to pursue my own dreams and to be a good technical director. I will always be with you, with my heart and prayers.”
