Before EURO 2024, which will be hosted by Germany, the 26-man team of the National Team has been determined.
According to the statement made by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), Abdülkadir Ömür, Berat Özdemir, Can Uzun, Cenk Özkacar, Doğan Alemdar and Oğuz Aydın were not included in the team.
In National Group A, Ozan Kabak, Çağlar Söyüncü and Enes Ünal were previously removed from the team due to their injuries. Türkiye, which is in Group F at EURO 2024, will compete with Georgia, Portugal and the Czech Republic in the group stage.
Turkey will face Poland in Warsaw on Monday, June 2024, in the last preparation match before EURO 10. The fight will start at 21.45 GMT.
DOĞAN ALEMDAR WILL BE IN THE CAST
In the statement made by TFF, it was stated that Doğan Alemdar will take part in the camp in order to ensure his goalkeeper qualification in training. It was reported that Bertuğ Yıldırım, who was previously sent to the Ümit National Group, was included in the A National Group team.
A NATIONAL SQUAD’S EURO 2024 MATCH SCHEDULE
The first match of the EURO 2024 tournament will be played between host Germany and Scotland on June 14. Türkiye will play its first match in the tournament against Georgia on June 18. Türkiye, which will face Portugal in its second match on June 22, will complete the group stage after the Czech Republic match on June 26.
Türkiye will play its first two matches in the group in Dortmund and its last match in Hamburg.
