Casemiro has been linked with a move away from Manchester United this summer. While the deadline has passed for Premier League clubs, those in Turkey still have a few hours left to sign players and one tipped with a move was the Manchester United midfielder.

Galatasaray were thought to be weighing up a move for the Brazil midfielder who was hooked at half-time in United’s defeat to Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday. This was after his mistakes led to two goals by Luis Diaz.

Casemiro’s form dipped last season and fans will not want to see a repeat of that this term. That is why United worked hard to sign Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain on deadline day.

The 32-year-old was left out of the Brazil squad for the Copa America and he hasn’t been selected for the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Paraguay.

However, the Daily Mail claims Casemiro has no interest in leaving Old Trafford. The former Real Madrid star is determined to stay at United and will reject any offers from Turkey.

United would have sold Casemiro if they received the right offer during the summer transfer window. He is the club’s highest earner on £375,000-a-week and the club is trying to revaluates how it rewards players with contracts.

The report adds that United are planning for Casemiro to return to training after the international break to prepare for our next match against Southampton.
