Fuat Tosyali has been named the new Chairman of the Board of Türkiye’s Automobile Initiative Group (Togg), following changes announced at the company’s General Assembly on September 24. The meeting, held at Togg’s headquarters in Gebze, also introduced other key appointments to the board.
Tosyali, founder of Tosyali Holding, succeeds Rifat Hisarciklioglu, who represented the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB). Hisarciklioglu passed his role to TOBB board member Hakan Ulken. Other notable changes include Talip Altug Aksoy, who replaced Anadolu Group’s Tuncay Ozilhan, and Olgun Zorlu, who took over from Zorlu Group’s Bekir Cem Koksal.
In a statement, Tosyali thanked his predecessors and outlined Togg’s future focus on global growth, with plans to begin exports in 2025. “Our goal is to become a global technology brand,” he said.
Hisarciklioglu expressed pride in Togg’s rapid rise, saying, “I leave my position with the satisfaction of seeing Togg become a well-known and respected brand.”
