STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — ShopRite grocery stores are offering a free turkey or ham for Thanksgiving for shoppers who have a Price Plus club card and spend $400 in purchases now through Thursday.
Shoppers in all stores, except those in Maine, just have to check their receipt. After spending the $400 on qualifying purchases, they can claim their free or discounted turkey or ham, according to ShopRite.
Once you qualify, enter your phone number or scan your Price Plus card at checkout, and the price of your item will be deducted from your shopping order. There is a limit of one turkey or ham per family.
Which items can you get for free?
Here are the items you can get for free, according to the grocery store’s website:
- Bowl & Basket All-Natural Frozen Turkey, any size up to 21 pounds or save $1.59 per pound off any other fresh, or frozen turkey brand (up to 21 pounds)
- Empire or Kosher Turkey brand $1.59 per pound off up to 21 pounds; check specific store details for free empire or kosher option
- Cooks Butt or Shank half or Portion Ham or save $2.39 per pound off any Cook’s Spiral Sliced Ham, Boneless Ham or any other Smoked Ham (up to 12 pounds average)
- $1.99 per pound off any other fresh or frozen turkey breast or Empire Kosher Turkey Breast up to 10 pounds
- Empire or Kosher Frozen Roasting Chicken (Up to 8 pounds, average)
- Stouffer’s Frozen Lasagna, any variety 90 ounces to 96 ounces
- Garden Plant-Based Roast 35.2 ounce (Frozen Department)
- Tofurky 56 ounce (frozen meat item)
- New to program: Dolly Parton Mac N Cheese 76 ounces (frozen)
- Take $1.89 per pound off Fresh Whole Picnics (12 pound average) halves, sliced, boneless or chunked
