Generali has sold its 99.99% stake in Generali Sigorta, its Turkish subsidiary. The new shareholding includes Arex Yatýrým Holding (48%), Kiler Holding (42%), Ekol Giriþim Sermayesi Yatýrým Ortaklýðý (9%), Arex Sigorta (1%).

The transaction is part of Generali’s strategic plan “Lifetime Partner 24: Driving Growth”. The latter aims to ensure sustainable growth and improve the Group’s profitability by focusing on markets where the company is in a leading position.

The transaction is still pending approval by the relevant authorities. It is expected to be finalized during the first half of 2025.

The sale price of Generali Sigorta has not been disclosed.
