DHL to accelerate investments in Türkiye, says CEO Venter – Türkiye Today

DHL Group aims to boost its revenues by 50% by positioning Türkiye as a regional hub in line with its “Strategy 2030” vision, according to CEO Hendrik Venter.

DHL Supply Chain recently unveiled its “Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Strategy 2030” during a roll-out event held in Istanbul.

In an interview with the Turkish economic news outlet, ekonomim.com, DHL Supply Chain EMEA CEO Hendrik Venter and DHL Türkiye Managing Director Buket Cox shared details on the Germany-based company’s investment plans for Türkiye.

“Türkiye is expected to play a critical role in our 2030 strategy,” Venter noted, underscoring the country’s geographic advantages, recent airport infrastructure investments, and its growing population.

Highlighting Türkiye as the EMEA region’s top country for new business opportunities, Venter added:

We have a strong pipeline of potential new business from major global companies interested in entering Türkiye. This potential is driven by Türkiye’s dynamic economy, strategic location within the logistics sector, and the diverse presence of multinational companies.

Buket Cox, Managing Director for Türkiye, provided further insights into the company’s recent investments in the country, including newly launched storage facilities.

She added that additional storage centers are set to open soon to address ongoing supply chain challenges.
