Starting August 16, Türkiye’s major bridge and highway tolls will see significant hikes, with prices rising to 45% across the key infrastructure.
Toll hikes across Türkiye’s key infrastructure
The General Directorate of Highways (KGM) and companies operating under the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model have introduced a new toll pricing structure for highways and bridges across Türkiye.
Istanbul bridges
- 15 July Martyrs’ Bridge and Fatih Sultan Mehmet (FSM) Bridge tolls increased from 24 TL to 33 TL.
- Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge toll jumped from 35 TL to 49 TL.
Other major bridges
- Osmangazi Bridge: Toll increased from 399 TL to 555 TL.
- 1915 Canakkale Bridge: Toll rose from 419 TL to 585 TL.
Effective date: The new rates will be in effect starting from August 16, 2024, at 00:00.
