Bloody Argument in Aksaray Marketplace
An argument broke out between two relatives who were working in the local markets in Yavuz Sultan Selim Neighborhood, over a previous potato purchase and sale fee. Allegedly, one party, who claimed that he could not receive the potato money, started an argument in the marketplace to demand money from his relatives.
As the argument grew, chaos broke out between the two groups of relatives and the incident quickly turned into a fight. A total of 5 people were injured during this fight.
In the heat of the incident, a person named ED, who was in the vehicle, pulled out his gun and opened fire towards his relatives with whom he was arguing. In this attack with a rifle, a total of five people, RD, GD, ED, GD and Ş.O., who was passing by, were injured.
Medical teams were dispatched to the scene regarding the condition of the injured. The teams took the injured to the Emergency Department of Aksaray Training and Research Hospital. It was reported that the health condition of the injured was good.
ED, who caused the incident to escalate by opening fire with a rifle, was caught and detained by the police teams that arrived at the scene. Crime Scene Investigation Branch teams launched a large-scale investigation and conducted a detailed study on the incident. In addition, the Aksaray Republic Chief Prosecutor’s Office has also initiated an investigation process.
