A Sukhoi Superjet registered as RA-89085 and operated by Russian airline Azimuth has caught fire after landing at Antalya Airport, Türkiye. Flight A45051 originated in Sochi and reportedly brought 89 passengers to Antalya, all of which and the six crew members were evacuated safely.
Videos circulating online show the aircraft’s left engine on fire which quickly spread to other areas around the engine. It is currently unknown what caused the fire.

The involved Sukhoi Superjet is seven years old. Reports say the aircraft suffered a hard landing. The runway was temporarily closed.
This accident is not the first time a Superjet has caught fire on landing.
