The Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup, one of the largest amateur golf tournaments worldwide, concluded on Friday, November 8. Hosted for the first time at the Ayla Golf Club in Aqaba, the tournament saw extensive participation from both local and international players.
Steve Clifton took first place with a score of 38 points, followed by Joe Mendoza in second with 36 points, and Yahya Barakat in third with 35 points.
Reflecting on the event, Sahl Dudin, Managing Director of Ayla Oasis Golf Company, said, “We are proud to host this prestigious tournament in partnership with Turkish Airlines, which further establishes Ayla as a premier golf destination in the region and around the world.”

Among 118 qualifying tournaments held in 67 countries, the winners will advance to the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup final, scheduled for December at the Gloria Serenity Resort in Antalya, Turkey.
