Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yusuf Alemdar shared the expected survey on the new monument project for Sakarya Democracy Square, which he announced a while ago by saying, “Sakarya will decide.” The shared image included 3 different Atatürk monuments. The voting will continue until October 1st, and the project determined by 1 million Sakarya residents will keep Atatürk’s glorious legacy alive in the city square.

Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yusuf Alemdar had recently announced that they had started preparations for an Atatürk monument worthy of Sakarya and that 1 million Sakarya residents would decide on alternative projects.

The Metropolitan Municipality made preparations for the new monument project and Mayor Yusuf Alemdar published the survey prepared with 3 different project options.

The survey link, which includes 3 alternative Atatürk images, was shared on Mayor Alemdar’s social media account with the title “The choice is up to the people, participate in the survey.”

The first option in the prepared survey includes an image of Atatürk in a military uniform and cap, the second option includes an image of him in a suit, and the third option includes an image of him in a suit and coat.
