Friday and Saturday the 76th annual Yellville Turkey Trot will take place on the Yellville Square.
This year, the Saturday morning Turkey Trot 5k race has been cancelled, due to minimal interest in the event.
Mid-Marion County Rotary member Alesia Owen, who is coordinating the event, spoke with KTLO, Classic Hits, and The Boot News to talk about the schedule of events for the festival.

Each day will be filled with food trucks, local breweries, craft and business vendors, and entertainment.
Saturday’s events include:
– American Legion Post 61 All American Breakfast at the Hut from 6 until 9;
– Mid Marion County Rotary Club Parade from 10 until 11;
– Whistlin Dixie from 11 until 1;
– Turning Point School of Dance from 1 until 2:00;
– Turkey Trot Scholarship and Turkey Trot Pageant Winners from 2:00 until 2:30 ;
– Classic Rock Band “Resurrection” from 2:30 until 4:30;
– Ridge Runner Cloggers from 4:40 until 5:30;
– Joe Batterton and Mark Edwards from 6 until 7:30;
– Street Dance featuring Buckshot from 8 until midnight.
