“Extremely proud of our guys,” Peoria High assistant Ryan McElmurry posted on X,com. “Being down as much as 9 in the second half. Never wavered and found a way to secure a huge win!”

Stowers, a 6-foot-5 senior guard, is headed to Miami (Ohio) and is among multiple Division-I prospects around Peoria with Bradley-bound duo of Dietrich Richardson of Manual and Matthew Zobrist of Metamora.

Bolingbrook is led by 6-7 Valparaiso recruit JT Pettigrew and 6-2 super sophomore Davion Thompson.
