Ankara, Türkiye – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik arrived today in the friendly Republic of Turkey in the city of Ankara for a two-day state visit, where he was warmly received by His Excellency President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the Republic of Türkiye and senior Turkish officials.
This visit, made in response to the generous invitation from His Excellency President Erdogan, underscores the strong and growing relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Türkiye.
During the visit, His Majesty and the Turkish President will hold discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation across various fields, ensuring mutual benefits for the two friendly nations and their peoples.
Accompanying His Majesty on this important visit is a high-level official delegation that includes: His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; His Excellency Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs; His Excellency Dr. Hamad bin Said al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; His Excellency Abdul Salam bin Mohammed al Marshidi, Chairman of the Oman Investment Authority; His Excellency Qais bin Mohammed al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; and His Excellency Ambassador Saif bin Rashid al Jahouri, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Türkiye.
