Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has visited the Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, Founder of the Republic of Türkiye, as part of His Majesty’s state visit to Türkiye.
HM The Sultan also gave an audience at his place of residence in Ankara to Vice President of Türkiye. The audience stresses the importance of expanding the horizons of investment and economic cooperation between the two countries.
In a meeting at his place of residence in Ankara, HM The Sultan urges businessmen from Turkiye to explore investment opportunities available in Oman in various sectors and benefit from the country’s competitive capabilities.
His Majesty /may God glorify him/ affirms in a word he wrote in the visitors’ book the keenness of the Sultanate of Oman to support the message of peace, as it is a national foundation and direction, His Majesty wishing the friendly Republic of Turkey permanent stability to achieve progress and prosperity.
After that, His Majesty the Sultan toured the museum located next to the mausoleum and viewed its contents, which display the personal belongings of the founder of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, and aspects of the emergence of modern Turkey.
HM The Sultan visited the Nation’s Library in Ankara. His Majesty views the library’s sections, its valuable publications and rare manuscripts, and tours a mini exhibition of the Omani-Turkish documents and publications organized on the occasion of his gracious visit to Türkiye.
