Thanksgiving is Thursday, which means it’s time to give thanks, feast on some turkey and watch football with the family.
Traditionally, the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys host games every Thanksgiving. For the 19th year in a row, three games will be played on the national holiday.
The Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears kick off the football festivities, followed by a contest between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants and ending with a Green Bay Packers vs. Miami Dolphins matchup.

Who plays football on Thanksgiving?
Detroit Lions vs. Chicago Bears
- Start time: 12:30 p.m. ET.

The Chicago Bears head to Ford Field to play the Detroit Lions at 12:30 p.m. ET. The Bears last played the Lions during the 2023 season when Chicago beat Detroit 28-13. This season, the Bears are 4-7 and the Lions are 10-1.
Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants

The New York Giants travel to AT&T Stadium to take on the Dallas Cowboys at 4:30 p.m. The Cowboys beat the Giants 20-15 during their Week 4 meeting.
Green Bay Packers vs. Miami Dolphins
The Green Bay Packers and Miami Dolphins wrap up Thursday’s Thanksgiving Day slate at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Packers beat the Dolphins 26-20 during their last meeting in December 2022.
