LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Many Arkansans want to burn those calories off just before the big holiday meal with a Thanksgiving Day run, which has switched to a new location.
The 13th annual Rock City Running Gobbler Turkey Trot will start at 8 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day at Rock City Running in the Market Place Shopping Center.
Runners met at a parking lot in The Heights neighborhood over the past several years.
Over 1,000 participants have already registered and are asked to bring a donation of a non-perishable item for the Arkansas Food Bank.
This year’s run will offer a 3-, 4- or 6.5-mile option and Tom’s Tiny Trot tradition for kids ages 8 and under.
