The Istanbul Regional Court of Justice has ruled in favor of Marti in its long-running legal dispute with the Istanbul Taxi Drivers’ Chamber of Tradesmen.
The Court of Appeals rejected the Istanbul Taxi Drivers’ Association’s request to shut down the Marti TAG service.
In its decision, the court upheld Marti’s appeal, overturning the lower court’s ruling, which it deemed erroneous.
The court acknowledged the validity of Marti’s objections in the 2.5-year case, allowing the continuation of the Marti TAG service.
The court also highlighted that the case file lacked sufficient evidence of unfair competition, leading to the annulment of the access ban on Marti TAG.
