Türkiye’s Deputy Trade Minister, Mustafa Tuzcu, recently visited Huawei’s Research and Development Center in Beijing to discuss potential collaborations with Chinese officials.

This visit, part of a wider tour of China led by Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek, focused on exploring Huawei’s advancements in fintech, artificial intelligence, digital transformation and environmental innovation, as detailed in a statement released on Tuesday.

The Turkish delegation included Burak Daglioglu, head of the Investment Office of the Presidency of Türkiye, as well as representatives from various ministries, including Treasury and Finance, Foreign Affairs, Culture and Tourism and Justice.

The delegation was hosted by Huawei’s Senior Vice President Jeff Wang, who provided in-depth presentations on the company’s ongoing projects in artificial intelligence, cloud computing and green technology.
