British tourists visiting Morocco this winter are advised to carry a printed boarding pass to avoid fines, according to UK media reports. The warning also extends to other destinations, including Turkey and Albania.

Instead of relying solely on a digital boarding pass, British travelers should carry a physical copy, reports indicated.

Budget travel expert Sabrina Escapes took to social media to warn that travelers with mobile boarding passes may not be accepted at Moroccan airports.

«Both Ryanair and easyJet have issued reminders for UK holidaymakers flying to Morocco to ensure they print their boarding passes», she said.

This requirement applies regardless of whether passengers are traveling with hand luggage, checked baggage, or no baggage at all, the source added.

On its website, Ryanair confirmed: «While mobile boarding passes are accepted at most airports in our network, certain locations, including airports in Morocco, Turkey, and Tirana, cannot accept mobile boarding passes».

It is worth noting that this decision was announced by earlier in August. However, British tourists are being reminded of the measure ahead of the winter holiday season.
