There’s a new designer collaboration at Target, and this time, the unsung holiday of the holiday season—Thanksgiving—is getting its due. John Derian, purveyor of decoupage and keeper of destination shops in downtown New York City, first introduced his Thanksgiving collection for Target last year. Luckily for all of his fans, it’s back for 2024, with more than 40 items spanning serveware, drinkware, accessories, and more—all of which are under $60.
The pièce de résistance, a $40 beaded turkey pillow sold out almost instantly upon the collection’s release earlier this month, but is back in stock as of October 29. Other highlights include glassware depicting woodland fowl, whimsical pear-shaped dessert plates, tabletop fungi, and serving trays adorned with Derian’s signature decoupage prints.

These are not items exclusively for Thanksgiving, rather, fall decor you can leave out all season long that gets its shining moment when you gather around the Thanksgiving table. My fellow House Beautiful editors and I already own a few pieces from last year’s collection, including prior iterations of the serving spoons and table runner. (I use the serving spoons every time I’m hosting guests, and they’ve held up beautifully.)
Prices are noteworthy, too, with all of our selects landing at $30 and under, save for the turkey pillow. The decoupage trays, while made of melamine or stoneware rather than glass, range from $15 to $25—a fraction of the cost of a John Derian original.
Last month, Derian also reintroduced his Halloween collection for Target that’s been running since 2020. If you’ve stepped in any of his shops, you’ll know that the designer pulls inspiration from curious antiques and oddities and all year long. His Halloween designs are an extension of that, including skeleton decoupage serving trays and more.
