The Turkish military’s ongoing offensive in northeastern Syria has escalated, with recent statistics indicating that 17 civilians have been killed and 49 others injured within the past 72 hours.

Following the attack on Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) in Ankara’s Kazan district, Turkey’s army has launched a wide-ranging assault targeting residential areas and urban infrastructure across northeastern Syria and the Iraqi Kurdistan region, especially Sinjar (Şengal).

Channel 8’s correspondent in northeastern Syria reports that Turkey has fired approximately 600 missiles into towns and cities in northeastern Syria, deploying 100 drones and 13 warplanes, severely disrupting essential services.

According to Hawar News, based in northeastern Syria, Turkish military bombardments have continued non-stop for the last three days, with drones and aircraft striking critical infrastructure in the Enteriyê neighbourhood in Qamishlo (Qamisli).

In the cantons of Jazira (Cizîre) and Kobanê (Kobani), attacks on service centres have led to power outages as key electrical stations have been forced offline.

Emel Khizem, co-chair of the Energy Board of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES), confirmed that alternative sources for electricity are unavailable due to the targeting of transmission lines.

Meanwhile, in Derik (Dêrik), Turkish forces bombed a cheese factory twice, injuring two individuals, one critically.

The General Command of the Internal Security Forces in North and East Syria reported that over two days, 573 shells have struck vital facilities and densely populated areas.
