The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture and Nigeria Türkiye Business Council have resolved to strengthen the bilateral ties between Nigeria and Turkey.

At the inauguration of the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association in Nigeria which was held at the Turkey Embassy in Abuja, the participants agreed to invest more in the security and economy of both countries.

A statement issued in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Saturday, by the Chief Executive Officer of TMT Travels and Tours Limited, Dr Ifeanyi Onukwubiri, revealed that NACCIMA and NTBC agreed that the best way for both countries was to invest in the economy through, agriculture, security, tourism and education.

Onukwubiri said, “The launch of MUSIAD Nigeria, which was held at the Turkiye Embassy in Abuja, was attended by the National President of NACCIMA and Chairman of NTBC, Dele Kelvin Oye Esq., who was accompanied by NTBC members Dr. Ifeanyi Onukwubiri, CEO of TMT Travels & Tours Limited, and Mr. Buchi Francis Eche, MD of Dreamland Global Synergy Limited.

“Also present were the Turkiye Ambassador to Nigeria, Amb. Hidayat Bayraktar, along with members of the Turkiye and Nigeria business communities, further strengthened ties between the two nations.

“We agreed that NTBC and NACCIMA will strengthen bilateral ties through security, agriculture, tourism and education. We understand the roles education, tourism, agriculture and security play in international trade and investment and NTBC and NACCIMA are committed to realising this.”
