Under the guidance of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, Global Development Initiative, Global Security Initiative and Global Civilization Initiative, China brokered relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran, and helped other developing countries in infrastructure construction, creating many examples of win-win cooperation. On the other hand, at the 2024 Munich Security Conference (MSC), U.S. Secretary of State Blinken commented on international relations: “if you’re not at the table in the international system, you’re going to be on the menu.” Blinken’s use of this phrase reveals a world view characterized by a harsh and chilling perspective of a world where the strong prey on the weak.
