The 7ft 4in giant — tied with Victor Wembanyama and Zach Edey as the tallest player in the NBA — has endeared himself to fans across the world with his incredible sense of humor and larger than life personality.

He even made a cameo in ‘John Wick 3’ where he got to fight with Keanu Reeves in a library.

The Serbian signed his first ever NBA contract as a 27-year-old rookie in 2015 with the San Antonio Spurs, and went on to play for the Detroit Pistons, Los Angeles Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, Dallas Mavericks, and Houston Rockets.

Over the summer, Marjanovic became a free agent who was available to sign with any team in the league.

As he waited for his future to unfold, the basketball big man apparently spent hours in the gym getting absolutely shredded.

The 36-year-old flexed his impressive muscles and showed off his ripped physique in a series of photos posted to Instagram.

“Boban was in the gym this offseason 🔥,” the post was captioned.

Fans were in awe of Boban’s chiselled frame and shared their reactions in the comments.

“Dude is built like a Skyrim giant,” one fan joked.

According to NBA insider Marc Stein, Boban is leaving the NBA to sign with with Turkish team Fenerbahçe.

“We want Boban to be Boban,” Fenerbahce’s head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius said on Tuesday when asked about the rumors about the signing.

Detroit Pistons forward Tobias Harris reacted to the news on X, writing: “Lets go braté!!!! 🔥🔥 @BobanMarjanovic”.

Paul George’s Podcast P posted: “All the best to Boban in Turkey!

“Will be missed having him in the NBA”.

Stein added that the contract includes a clause that would allow Boban to leave and sign with an NBA team in December if the opportunity arises.

The towering center experienced limited game time over the past two seasons, appearing in just 45 games with the Rockets. He averaged 3.3 points, 2.0 rebounds and 0.1 blocks per game during that time.

During his NBA career, he made 25 starts in his 331 games played, averaging 5.5 points and 3.6 rebounds in 8.7 minutes per game.

He struggled to overcome his limitations as an immobile 7-footer and was regularly targeting in the pick and roll.

However, he became a fan favorite due to his jovial nature. Last season, he intentionally missed two free throws to trigger a promotion that gave Clippers fans in attendance at the game free chicken sandwiches.

The veteran big man made his name in the EuroLeague a decade ago playing for Crvena Zvezda. He averaged an impressive 16.6 points and 10.7 rebounds for 25.7 PIR in the EuroLeague during the 2014-15 season.

He was a three-time Serbian Super League MVP from 2013-15.
