Galatasaray Vice President Metin Öztürk made harsh statements regarding Fenerbahçe Board Member Responsible for Legal Affairs Fethi Pekin’s recent statements and his complaints about Galatasaray to 7 different institutions. Öztürk, “SABOTAGE TO GALATASARAY!” He said the following at the September ordinary meeting of the Board of Directors under the title:
“These statements are very new, I learned a few minutes ago. This weekend, the club’s legal member made statements with the instruction of the president in order to stir up the agenda and increase the pressure on the Galatasaray community. He wanted to consolidate his fans and carry out a sabotage against this side. I would like to remind you of the situation two years ago when the president said he would speak using an election as an excuse. However, those talks went nowhere. While a new period has started with a different technical director, artificial agendas are being tried to be created for our club. We took office three months ago and rolled up our sleeves immediately. Our rivals, who have not been successful for 11 years, decided to do what they know best.”
Sharing his thoughts about the yellow-navy community, Öztürk said, “They are acting with a specific assignment. Someone has written these statements and delivered them to them. Who is our only rival? Galatasaray. In this case, they said, let’s sow discord and start trying to disrupt our settings. However, there is something they have forgotten; no one has been able to disrupt Galatasaray’s settings for 117 years. I am expressing this period as 117 years because they were founded two years after us. Even if another 117 years pass, their efforts will fail. I don’t even want to read the facts underlying such shameful acts, namely these statements. The architects of this organized evil are quite clear. The representative of organized evil has just made a statement. We will continue to mind our own business.”
