NBA point guard journeyman Saben Lee has found a new home.

Lee has signed a deal to join the overseas club, Manisa Basket of Turkey.
The club shared the news on Instagram on Friday.
Lee will join Manisa Basket after four seasons in the NBA. His NBA journey started when he was selected No. 38 overall in the 2020 NBA Draft by the Utah Jazz; however, he was later traded to the Detroit Pistons.
In Detriot, he went on to obtain a two-way contract, spending a small amount of time with the Pistons’ G League affiliate, the Motor City Cruise. After that, he was brought up to the Pistons’ roster and scored a career-high 22 points against the Minnesota Timberwolves. That game ended up being the highlight of his career.

The 25-year-old has bounced from team to team since the 2022 season, going from Toronto Raptors, Philadelphia 76ers, and the Suns.
Lee was traded from the Raptors along with Kelly Olynk to the Utah Jazz for Bojan Bogdanovic. A week later, he was waived and ultimately signed an exhibit 10 contract with the Raptors, who waived him and later joined Raptors 905 of G League.
The 76ers signed Lee in late Nov. 2022, and he was waived a month later before he returned to the 905. At the start of the 2023 season, the Suns signed Lee to a 10-day contract. He signed another two-way contract prior to the 2023-24 season.
During four NBA seasons, Lee appeared in 134 games in the regular season and averaged 5.2 points per game, 2.8 assists, and 1.9 rebounds while shooting 42.1 percent from the field and 27.1 percent from three.
Lee is joining the Manisa club that competes in the Basketball Champions League — in addition to Turkey’s Basketball Super League — for the first time next season.
The Missouri native started his basketball career at Vanderbilt, where he spent three years in college. In 96 college games, Lee averaged 13.9 points per game, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists while shooting 47.1 percent from the field and 32.8 percent from three in 30.7 minutes per game. Lee finished his junior season and was named in the second-team All-SEC.
Now, Lee will head overseas for the first time in his career.
