Türkiye’s Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek has announced plans to utilize artificial intelligence technology to oversee the country’s public savings.

This initiative aims to enhance efficiency and ensure the effective use of resources.

“We are taking the savings measures circular one step further by using modern information technologies,” Minister Şimşek stated in a statement on X.

Şimşek elaborated that the Ministry will implement the Artificial Intelligence-Supported Accounting and Advanced Analytics Project to reduce bureaucratic procedures and optimize resource utilization.

“While increasing efficiency in the public sector, we will not compromise on the quality of services,” Şimşek concluded.

This move represents a significant step towards modernizing public financial management in Türkiye by integrating advanced technologies into governmental operations. (ILKHA)
